About Snakes & Ladders — Jungle Edition
A love letter to the board game everyone grew up with — rebuilt for the browser with the same care as our Ludo game, and none of the friction.
The game
Snakes & Ladders — Jungle Edition is a free online version of the classic 100-square race. The board is the traditional layout: nine ladders to climb, ten snakes to dodge, and one glorious square 100 at the top. You can race the AI, share one device in pass & play, or open a private online room and race friends in realtime.
What makes it ours
The jungle look is drawn from scratch — the wooden board, the hand-drawn snakes, the firefly-lime palette and the kalimba soundtrack are all original. The classic house rules are here too: an exact roll to finish, a bonus roll on a six (two in a row is the limit — a third six is never dealt), and both can be toggled in settings to match the version your family played.
Every match also starts with a Choose Game Rules step offering two ways to finish: Classic Mode, where the first player to reach 100 wins immediately, and Last One Standing, where reaching 100 earns your finishing position and everyone keeps racing until the whole table has reached 100. The how-to-play guide explains both in detail.
Where your data lives
Everything runs in your browser. Your name, avatar, preferences and statistics are saved only on your own device, and online rooms connect players directly to each other — game moves are not stored on a server.
Legal & contact
Both games share one privacy policy, one set of terms and one contact page. More about the site, and how its rules pages are kept accurate, is on the LudoLive about page.
